By road
- From Munich: 222 km
- From Vienna: 317 km
- From Salzburg: 90 km
- From Villach: 104 km
- From Udine: 235 km
From the north: Take the A 10 motorway from Salzburg until exit 63 Radstadt. Follow the 'Katschberg-Bundesstraße' until you reach Radstadt then head for Obertauern (Radstadt to Obertauern is approx. 20 km).
From the south: Follow the A 10 Tauernautobahn motorway from Villach to the St. Michael toll station (Exit 104), then head for Obertauern via Mauterndorf (St. Michael to Obertauern is approx. 50 km).

Finding your way to the Hotel Kesselspitze:
Coming from Untertauern on the B99 road you drive through the town of Obertauern and then turn left after about 400m before the tunnel and follow the signs to the “Hotel Kesselspitze”.
Coming from Tweng on the B99 road just before the town of Obertauern you will see the “Jugendgästehaus Schaidberg” on the right hand side, after about 150m you drive through the tunnel, turn right immediately after the tunnel and then follow the sins to the “Hotel Kesslespitze”.
Finding your way to the Hotel Edelweiss:
Coming from Untertauern on the B99 road you drive through the town of Obertauern until you see the “Hotel Edelweiss” on the left-hand side of the main road. The hotel is easily noticed because of the “Intersport” sports shop located in the hotel.
Coming from Tweng on the B99 road you drive through the town of Obertauern, after about 200m after the town’s name sign you will see the “Hotel Edelweiss” on the right-hand side. The hotel is easily noticed because of the “Intersport” sports shop located in the hotel.
Finding your way to the Hotel Frau Holle:
Coming from Untertauern on the B99 road you drive through the town of Obertauern until you see the “Hotel Edelweiss” and the integrated “Intersport” sports shop on the left-hand side. Turn left just before the hotel and after about 50 m you will see the “Hotel Frau Holle” on the right-hand side.
Coming from Tweng on the B99 road you drive through Obertauern and after about 200 m after the town’s name sign you will see the Hotel Edelweiss and the integrated “Intersport” sports shop on the right-hand side, turn right just after the “Hotel Edelweiss” and after about 50m you will see the “Hotel Frau Holle” on the right-hand side.
By train

The nearest train station is in Radstadt 20 km away. You can then use public transport or a taxi to get to Obertauern. For guests at the Lürzer hotels Kesselspitze, Edelweiss and Frau Holle, we are happy to organise transfers to and from the station on request.
